When will I receive my list of ingredients?

You’ll receive an email with your list of ingredients and an equipment list a week and a half before your cook-a-long or cooking experience. If you need it sooner than that, drop me an email at hello@cookingwithshamoo.com and we’ll work something out.

How do I pay?

Once you’ve confirmed your booking I’ll send you over an invoice with payment details. I take a 50% deposit when you book, and the remaining 50% no later than 2 weeks before your cooking experience

I have allergies, are your recipes adaptable?

Yes, if you’ve got an allergy just let me know when you book and I’ll send over a list of substitutes for the ingredients you need to omit.

I wasn’t able to get all of the ingredients or don’t have all of the equipment on the list.

Don’t panic! It’s ok - the most important thing is you have fun during your cooking experience. Always remember it’s your kitchen, so your rules! I’m just here to guide you and give you some top tips, we’ll find a workaround for anything you’ve forgotten or don’t have.

I’m the only vegetarian/vegan in my group

That’s ok, just let me know and I’ll be sure to make sure the dish we’re cooking can be adapted for you if the rest of the group choose to opt for a meat/fish recipe.

I’d like to book for a large group (more than 15 people)

The more the merrier! I’ll just need to adapt the cooking experience to make sure everyone feels included. I’ll give you a quick call to get more detail and probably ask you a few extra questions to ensure the session is tailored to your group.

What platform do you use?

All my cooking experiences are run via zoom. You’ll need an internet connection and the ability to stream audio and video to participate. You’ll be sent an email with a prep sheet and a link to join the session a few days before.

How will I know what I’m supposed to be doing?

You’ll receive a prep sheet by email prior to the session to help you get ready for your cooking experience. I’ll guide you through the cooking step-by-step and answer any questions you may have along the way.
